    Requirements:

    • technical experience (programming or database development, etc.) and/or technical education
    • ability to handle and drive medium and big topics from the requirements inception to system specification phase, with support during development, pre-testing and handover to QA phases
    • focus on user scenarios, understanding true customer needs and their prioritisation
    • strong drive towards simplification of requirements and solution
    • clear communication with the team members as well as with the product owner (based in Switzerland), firm handling of the given topic regarding reviews, open issues and early communication about them
    • fluent English – min. C1, clear and concise writing and speaking
    • balanced personal adaptability and initiative to improve the whole
    • goal-driven team player

    These can be an asset:

    • first hand experience with user story approach and UML diagrams
    • being familiar with banking or financial domain
      ambition to supervise/support junior analysts
      experience with working with geographically distributed teams
    • experience with identification of the given specification’s side effects to the existing functionality

    Typical responsibilities:

    • understanding of the given sub-domain, gathering and clarification of requirements and priorities, participating on design of the solution on the system specification level
      producing of textual specification on system and task level
    • organising reviews on the given topics, processing the feedback
    • communicating with the product owner about the status, results and open issues
    • participation on information exchange/telcos/visits with/to the customers, preparing presentations of the implemented features
    • participation on the documentation, release notes
      general participation on the planning sessions and other regular team activities (retros, standup)

    About the team:

    • we are growing our team as we a new large banking client and keep developing new modules and functionalities
      concrete tasks based on Product Owner functional specification documents or video conferences are planned on 2-months basis, usually vision of about 6 months ahead
    • implementation on only one project, usually one task at a time – from clarifying the requirements, studying the domain and, ideally, handing over to QA (pre-test and know-how transfer)
    • customer oriented scopes, new features (processes, legal, regulation, …)
    • the team consists of 4 analysts, 8 developers, 4 testers; they is segmented by Epic for each release
    • you will be reporting to a teamleader who is based in Switzerland concerning the domain and a teamleader in Slovakia concerning daily work and iterations
      usually 1 business trip a year

    Salary range:

    Final compensation depends on your experience, skills and results. It is possible to renegotiate it at any time after your start with our CEO.

    For this role, it is approximately 2500 – 3000 EUR for a full-time employment. In case you significantly exceed our expectations, we are happy to discuss a higher starting salary.
