The Java Backend Developer is in charge of integrating the digital banking platform with a newly built middle layer. Take over an expert role for backend integration within an agile and multi-country project environment.
Your tasks will be:
– Design and development of backend service for full-scale applications
– Write testable, maintainable code for robustness and reliability
– Work on software development as well as on bug fixing
– Understand design patterns, multi-threading, collections
– Collaborate in an agile and multi-country environment
We require:
– University degree in computing science or similar field or business education (technical school, commercial college, university)
– Work experience in the banking environment for at least 3 years
– Proficiency in Java, C, and eagerness to learn new programming languages (Axway Composer…)
– Basic knowledge in SQL and DBMS (Oracle, etc.)
– Extensive experience with integration patterns and frameworks (Apache Camel, Spring Integration)
– Expert knowledge regarding enterprise software architectures and web technologies
– Knowledge of Atlassian Products (JIRA, Confluence, BitBucket)
– Knowledge of JSON schema
– Advanced English, another CEE language and/or German are considered an advantage
