We are looking for an experienced Python backend developer that can help move Injurymap to the next level. A person that has the skill, can operate strategically and is fun to work with.
Our backend runs on a micro web framework Flask. We are striving towards delivering a high quality code influenced by the sector’s best practices.
Your job would include:
– developing the backend solution in Flask framework
– build and enhance our API used for our different frontend applications
– manage and monitor DevOps
– peer code reviews
Required Skills
– 3+ years of experience in the design and development of a Python-based backend.
– Proficiency in Python programming language.
– Ability to think strategically and coming up with effective solutions
– A solid understanding of relational databases (Postgresql, MySQL etc.)
– Bachelor’s Degree in computer science or equivalent experience required.
– Written and spoken communication skills in English (B2 category)
Good to have
– A feel for the best practices
– Knowledge of Flask framework, SQLAlchemy & Docker
– Experience with a frontend side and UI/UX is a huge plus
– Familiarity with systems such as: Heroku, Git, Firebase, Sentry
